Abstract: The topic under investigation is the impact of religious education on adult learners. This study aimed to examine how religious education influences the personal and professional lives of adult learners. The objectives were to assess the effects of religious education on adult learners' ethical and moral development, to evaluate the impact on social relationships and community involvement, and to investigate the role of religious education in enhancing life skills and career growth. A survey research design was utilized, allowing for the collection of detailed responses from a wide range of adult learners participating in religious education programs. A sample size of 280 adult learners was selected to provide a broad perspective on the impact of religious education. The purposive sampling technique was employed to target individuals engaged in various religious education programs. The case study was focused on religious education programs in Abuja, Nigeria. Findings indicated that religious education positively impacted adult learners by enhancing their ethical values, strengthening community ties, and supporting personal and career development. Recommendations included integrating religious education components into broader adult education programs to leverage its benefits for holistic development.
